Not for beginning nursing students

As a nursing student just beginning clinicals , found this book to not be that helpful. Many of the lab values I needed to explain were not in the book, and yes I did look for the other name that lab may go by. Did help somewhat, but I could not rely on the handbook of lab values to give me explanations. I found some of their explanations to be centered towards one issue, and not explaining other important reasons for the decrease/increase of lab vales. I had to purchase another lab manual handbook and tell my nursing professor not to recommend this to her next class.
